Joint personnel held traffic operation in several areas of East Jakarta, Wednesday (1/24). From this operation, 137 vehicles were netted.

45 joint personnel were deployed to control several locations. Such as on Jalan Otista Raya, Jalan Dewi Sartika, Jalan MT. Haryono, Jalan Mayjen Sutoyo, Jalan Raya Bogor and others.

East Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept.'s Control and Monitoring Section Head, Slamet Dahlan said, this operation is targeting vehicles that has no vehicle documents, stopped in illegal places, take and drop-off passengers at random spots, cut route, has expired KIR book, and so on.

"137 vehicles were netted. We give them sanctions according to their violations," he explained.

He mentioned, from 137 total netted vehicles, 40 vehicles were ticketed by Transportation Sub-dept, 60 vehicles were ticketed by police, 26 were towed to Transportation Sub-dept., and 11 vehicles operation were stopped due to incomplete vehicle documents.
